Globalimar disembarks in the United States with the Ready to Eat and with Jackson & Partners as a partner.
Globalimar Europa, company based in Girona and specialized in the production, import and commercialization of frozen seafood products, has recently signed an agreement with the former baseball and football player Bo Jackson, who runs Jackson & Partners, company based in the US to service the food industry, to commercialize the ‘Ready to eat’ seafood meals in the United States.
This business alliance with Jackson & Partners is a project that includes the principles of the sportsman, based on quality, healthy and sustainable food (certified with ASC/MSC quality standards). The ready-to-eat seafood meals, fish dish and accompaniments, elaborated after a long research process with ALICIA Foundation to make them nutritionally healthy and ready-to-eat after putting them frozen in the microwave and cooking for 5/8 minutes.
After final agreement has been reached, Globalimar’s ‘Ready to eat’, with headquearters in Miami (Florida), will be found within 2 months at grocery stores in cities such as New York, Chicago, Boston and Miami.
As Globalimar CEO, Jordi Martí, explains ‘we are very pleased with the agreement, firstly for being able to consolidate it in these current troubled times for everybody, and then, because we believe that the ‘Ready to eat’ fits American society perfectly, as the culture of pre-cooked dishes is much more rooted there’. ‘Moreover’, adds Martí, ‘we are deeply satisfied with the relationship we’ve established with the company, and especially with Bo Jackson, someone who shares our same values’.
